Issuing a Certificate of Origin
Apply for a Certificate of Origin, an official document that certifies the origin of goods being exported or re-exported. The certificate determines customs duties and must be issued alongside a detailed commercial invoice, ensuring compliance with customs regulations.

Service Procedure

Access services portal
Click 'Start Service' to create your account or log in to the Dubai Chambers services portal.

Submit your application
Follow the instructions to submit all your required documents.

Approval process
Your request will be reviewed and approved within two hours of submission if you meet all the requirements.

Payment and confirmation
After paying the fees, you will be prompted to download your certificate.

Service Requirements
- Here are the document requirements to apply for this service: Primary document:
- Commercial invoice Additional requirements for specific cases:
- Direct shipment
- Bill of Lading
- UAE origin • Copy of the industrial license
- Copy of the factory’s invoice
- Transshipment goods
- Copy of bill transit from Dubai Customs
- Please be aware that Dubai Chambers reserves the right to request any additional supporting documents if necessary, including:
- Packing list
- Bills of the exporting country
- Exporter’s country invoice
Service Fees
- Issuing a Certificate of Origin: AED 100
- Note: A fee of AED 5 will be charged for each additional page after page 5 of the Commercial Invoice. Additionally, a fee of AED 5 will be applied for each page of the Packing List.
