Centre for Responsible Business
Since its establishment in 2004, Dubai Chamber of Commerce’s Centre for Responsible Business (CRB) has been at the forefront of promoting Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainable business practices. The CRB offers platforms, knowledge, and tools to help businesses integrate CSR and sustainability throughout their operations, engaging with the community through initiatives including the Dubai Chamber of Commerce ESG Label, the Sustainability Network, and business mentoring and support services.
Objectives
The CRB assists the Dubai business community with the adoption of CSR and sustainability practices, encourages greater responsibility for social and environmental needs, and promotes Dubai as a regional and international business hub by fostering transparency, elevated governance standards, and full compliance with legal requirements.
Activities
The CRB encourages and assists the business community to adopt responsible practices that enhance performance and create competitive advantages. The centre promotes CSR, sustainability, and good governance, providing timely advice and fostering the integration of these principles across all aspects of business operations, as well as measuring and documenting responsible practices in Dubai and the UAE.
ESG Label
The Dubai Chamber of Commerce Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Label is a distinguished framework and developmental tool designed to help organisations evaluate their ESG readiness and maturity levels, gain recognition for their efforts, and achieve business growth. The framework is aligned with global best practices and meets the local and international baseline for ESG reporting and preparedness.
